To use MyPictureShow in Windows 3.1, go to the Screen Saver control by successively opening the Main,Control Panel, and Desktop windows. Click on the Screen Saver drop-down control, and you will see MyPictureShow listed along with your other Windows screen savers. Select it, then click the Setup button just to the right. This brings out the SetUp dialog. Among its controls you will see a 'Help' button. Clicking this button brings up a Windows Help file, which fully explains how each of the dialog controls works, and offers other related information.
[For instructions on using MyPictureShow in Windows95, please see the accompanying README.WRI file.]
Basically, you use the SetUp dialog to choose a Display Mode, a directory, and an image file; then you quit by clicking 'OK.' You can now preview the display by clicking 'Test' on the Desktop window, or close the Desktop via its OK button--which means MyPictureShow will run with current settings.
You can "re-design" your screen saver -- from one set of images to another, or from one display mode to another -- with just a few mouse clicks. We bet you'll have a lot of fun putting this flexibility to work, with your favorite computer-graphics images!
